After you have viewed the video for Module- "Composing a Summary from Course Notes" - practice the strategies that you have learned about by summarizing the text assigned by your instructor using the KWL strategy.
Instructions:
• Make a hard copy of the reading assignment.
• Mark and annotate the copy.
• Take notes on the text
• Compose a summary using your notes.
Bring your marked and annotated copy and your summary to class and be prepared to share and discuss with your classmates. You will hand in this assignment at the end of class.
