1. Gaimanstates, "Fiction is a lie that tells us true things, over and over." Do you agree? What "true things" does Fahrenheit 451 tells us over and over?

2. Granger said, "Everyone must leave something behind when he dies, my grandfather said. A child or a book or a painting or a house or a wall built or a pair of shoes made. Or a garden planted. Something your hand touched some way so your soul has somewhere to go when you die, and when people look at that tree or that flower you planted, you're there" (p. 149-150). Comment on that.

3. Why is the final section of the book called "Burning Bright"? What are possible double meanings in this phrase? In this regard, is there any chance that the society will change? What needs to be done to change the society of "Fahrenheit 451"?
