The members of a team will, between them, have a range of competencies and skills. When allocating tasks the team leader must take these factors into consideration.
You lead a small team responsible for loading and unloading delivery vehicles. There is a narrow window when no freight movements are expected. You and the team have decided to make changes to your work flow to increase efficiencies. You have decided to use the time when no freight movement is expected to discuss the improvement process and allocate roles for the team members.
