Complete a job safety assessment

Assignment task: For the purpose of the business proposal, the surveillance will take place along the coast and estuary (shown by the yellow line perimeter) between 5.30am and 7.30am and 5.30pm-7.30pm during the month of December 2022 when Baru are known to be most active. The resolution should be sufficiently high so as to enable the identification of the length of the crocodile, which can vary (2.5m-6m). The requirement is to obtain at least 10 samples during 0530-0730 and another 10 during 1730-1930, with each sample containing at least 30 minutes of interrupted high quality footage.

The footage should be recorded so that computer vision software can be used to automatically detect and count the crocodiles and measure their lengths. This means clarity in footage and high resolution is important. Therefore, tidal information will need to be consulted for the local area.

The top of Banambarrnga (Rainbow Cliffs) is a sacred site, therefore it is important to respect the wishes of the traditional owners and custodians of Dhimurru IPA and not enter the area indicated on the map by foot or air.
