Compare two cities that you have lived in. Which city do you like better? Why?
Changhua and Des Moines are the two different cities in. Changhua is a countryside city with a lot of natural landscapes. I live in Changhua for a long time; there are many convenience stores to buy things very convenient. Des Moines also countryside city, but the natural environment is more beautiful. I live in Des Moines for one year. I think the car is important for here, because Des Moines has six months in the rain and the weather is very cold. I compared these two different cities. I feel most different from the transportation, food and city Features.
The transportation in Changhua is very convenient. Changhua transportation facilities are buses and trains. Don't need long time waiting for the Bus and trains. In Changhua all buses run every 5 minutes. For the trains runs every fifteen minutes, and another trains runs every 30 minutes. The transportation in Des Moines is very inconvenient, because we need long time waiting for the Bus and trains. Bus and trains waiting time is fifteen minutes or one hour. This is waiting too long time for students and commuter. If the future I live in Des Moines I must to buy a car.
Changhua and Des Moines food are very different. Changhua has many refreshments. The local special products are meatballs and dairy products. Changhua have night market every night to eat something very convenient. Des Moines has many fast food restaurants. The local special products are hamburgers, French fries and Teriyaki. There are not many restaurants in Des Moines, So most people go to other city restaurants Federal Way or Bellevue. Compare Changhua and Des Moines restaurants. In the Des Moines restaurants we need pay tip to the waiter. This is the American culture so in Changhua restaurants never happen.
Changhua and Des Moines the city features are very different. Changhua has many tourist attractions .The most famous sightseeing spots include Confucius Temple and Bagua Mountain. Bagua Mountain is the scenic points which are include: the Changhua Grand Buddha, Jiulong Pond, Mountain Pagua Recreation Park, Chung Cheng Park. "Changhua Grand Buddha" is the main stronghold for tourists to visit. In Des Moines most famous sightseeing spots include Saltwater State Park, Des Moines Beach Park Auditorium and City of Des Moines Marina. In the City of Des Moines Marina every year Independence Day will have a fireworks show. Marina Sea views are very beautiful many people rent a boat to go fishing during the holidays.
Changhua is the better city for me, Because Changhua is my hometown. I live in Changhua for a long time and I like Changhua food and scenery. I have a lot of memories of life in Changhua. Changhua is safer than Des Moines so I can go to watch the night scenery. The transportation in Des Moines is inconvenient so I cannot enjoy in this city. Des Moines is a very beautiful city with a lot of attractions. If I were to buy a car in Des Moines in the future, maybe I would change my mind to love this city.
