My name is Lesly Periman, and I am currently pursuing my degree in Health Care Administration. I am a military spouse, and my family currently lives in South Dakota. My experience with the healthcare industry has primarily been as a consumer, both during my childhood and now as an adult, which has given me a broader perspective on how access to healthcare can impact quality of life. One semi-controllable factor from my childhood that has influenced my health as an adult was access to quality healthcare. Growing up, healthcare was often stressful for my family because the quality of public healthcare in my home country was limited. These made it more difficult to consistently receive reliable medical care, which showed me how important access to quality healthcare is for overall well-being and long-term health. As an adult, access to affordable and quality healthcare continues to influence my health as I grow older, but my circumstances have greatly improved. I was able to afford private healthcare, which provided better quality care, and now, as part of a military family, we have the advantage of excellent medical insurance. Need Assignment Help?
