Assignment Overview:
This is an individual assignment to test students' knowledge and application on Superficial Area Method and Elemental Cost Analysis (ECA) at the early stage of the project development. You will need to use a case study (a simple drawing/sketches) to demonstrate your knowledge and application on those methods.
The case study report should be in pdf format and include following components/contents:
1. Produce and compare the complete cost plans for the methods
2. Discuss and apply the appropriate design economics principles from the case study
3. Discuss and selection of the right sources of historical data or database for this comparison
4. Justify the reliability and accuracy of both methods under different circumstances (with assumptions).
