Compare child development theories and apply research methods to study child development. How will you assess development? How will you communicate the findings to families and enlist their support?
Create an infographic/presentation using materials such as PowerPoint, Prezi, etc. You can decide how you want to format it. It is your choice whether or not it is an infographic or presentation.
Include the following in your infographic/presentation:
Comparison of three theories of child development
Description of three research methods that educators use to study child development
A plan for using one of the identified research methods in your early childhood classroom
How would you communicate with parents and families about growth and development norms, concepts and theories?
An assessment plan that applies relevant assessment methods for identifying children's development and learning needs
How will you communicate with parents about assessment findings when assessing their children's development and learning needs?
How will you enlist the support of parents and families in meeting their children's development and learning needs?
