Severe accidents were occurred in Fukushima Nuclear Power Plants (FKS NPPs) in Japan on March 11, 2011. Unfortunately, those accidents have not completely resolved yet. Thus, the secure of NPP safety has brought a lot of public attentions. In this regard, we are so keen of impacts of FKS accidents on Korean NPP industries.
(1) Compare NSSS systems including safety systems of Fukushima nuclear power plant unit 1 with those of APR1400. (2) Suggest improvements of safety system design features of APR1400 to protect those multiple accidents occurred in FKS NPPs. (3) How can we enhance the safety of the spent fuel storage pool of APR1400?
