Your final paper will be about virtual PR of two local companies in the UAE.
1- Select two UAE-based government or private companies. They should be comparable/competitive in providing services or producing commodities (e.g. Dubai Municipality/Sharjah Municipality; Flydubai/Airarabia; Al-Futtaim/Al-Habtour; Al-Ain/Masafi);
2- Each organization/company must be well-known and have many employees and consumers.
3- Examine each organization/company's website and analyze its content highlighting its strength and weakness.
4- Your critical appraisal must focus on:
A- Media relations, particularly their presence and major activities on social media;
B- Consumer relations; and
C- Community relations.
5- Compare and contrast the two companies' online PR presence and activities, and state your opinion regarding their effectiveness.
6- Your paper must be 9 pages long (including a printout of the homepages of the two companies); and must be well-thought and well-written.
Compare between two airline companies of the UAE which are etihad and emirates airlines. Everything needs to be from a PR perspective.
