2. Select and research a multinational business that operates in and trades with multiple countries and explain why it is important for this business to understand the political structure that exists and provide criteria for deciding whether or not to enter a country's market.

Compare and contrast democracy and totalitarianism and explain the reasons why a country would shift from totalitarianism to democracy; the impact this shift has had on businesses that operate globally; and how these changes during the past three decades have altered the perspectives for U.S. and international businesses.
