Econimic Geography
Step 1: Use the internet or other outside resources to find 2 different maps that are related to an economic concept/topic we have discussed in this course that is of interest to you. Note: Although you should be able to relate the two maps to the same topic, they should each focus on a different set of information.
Step 2: Compare and contrast the geographic patterns that you see between the two maps. Speculate on the ways in which these patterns are influencing each other. Think, in particular, about how political systems or relationships and/or aspects of physical geography might be contributing to the patterns and their possible connections, as well. Then, write a 1 page (at least 300 words) summary of your analysis of these two maps. In so doing, you should evaluate the extent to which the patterns between these two maps seem to be related to each other. In addition, you should summarize what this map analysis activity has helped you learn about this economic concept. Copy and paste copies of each of the maps that you have used in your document after your written analysis. Be sure to include proper bibliographic citations for the sources of each of the maps, as well as any additional sources you may have used for this assignment.
