Unit II Journal
Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) is the new buzzword in Emergency Medical Services (EMS). It is a new thought and provision of healthcare delivery that is not traditional. EMS notes that it is patient-centered, utilizing mobile resources in the out-of-hospital environment. It may include, but is not specifically limited to, providing community paramedicine care, chronic disease management, preventive care or post-discharge follow-up visits.
Based on your experience, explain why you do or do not believe that MIH is feasible in your community.
