Compare and contrast Kant and Mill on what is good and what acts are right.
For each author, explain his account of what is good, how we should act and whether only the motives or only the consequences of our acts matter when assessing their moral value.
Apply their thinking to the following cases: lying and helping those in need. For each explain whether and when such acts morally good and why.
