Company x inc is a small retail store on womens clothing

Company X Inc. is a small retail store on women’s clothing. They have had a paper-based manual to train sales associate with on-the-job instruction. However, a problem arose with the training in that the training was not showing to be successful in training the associates with on the floor skills was necessary. Most of the sales associates in the store were ethnic minorities and were between18-24. You have been hired as an instructional designer to re-design the training with an RPS (Retail Performance Support System) to update the current training. The ID finds out that due to constraints of time and money, the associates need on the job training, but the store manager is not available due to job responsibilites. Upon discussion with the client, it was decide that the RPS (Retail Performance Support) to be designed are job aids and computer-based training (microlearning – just in place support). It is expected that these measures would provide training on almost every aspect of sales associate’s job on the store floor. Why you think that these support systems would adequately train the associates?
