Company MNO produces hangers. They need one of 5” piece and two of 4” pieces for each one of hangers. These pieces are cut from metal bars that come with a 23.5” length. There are 70 metal bars to be used to cut the required pieces. The company has the following goals.
Goal 1: maximize number of hangers using these bars
Goal 2: minimize the total length of the wasted bars
