Communication problems with the e-mail:

The e-mail begins with TO: Bobby Johnson. This means that the e-mail is directed to one individual, Bobby Johnson and not to 50 different individuals. Still, the e-mail was sent to 50 different persons. Each might feel that she has received the e-mail by mistake and delete the e-mail. When I reach the end of the e-mail I find Bobby Johnson written at the end of the e-mail. This means that the e-mail has been written by Bobby Johnson. The point of confusion is that Bobby Johnson has written the e-mail to Bobby Johnson and has sent it to 50 people.

The venue of the party is Cary Café, but the address of Cary Café is not given. Bobby writes that he along with the friends of Joe Banyon would like to give him a gift certificate. Usually a gift certificate costs a negligible sum of money. Then, why is he asking everyone to contribute. The next problem with the communication is that it does not mention the amount of money he would like everyone to contribute. The money should be specified. The e-mail ends with let me know ASAP. It is not clear what Bobby would like to know ASAP, the participation or the contribution.
