The changes in technology, has significantly impacted our society. Innovative technology is the cornerstone for the way most organizations conduct business. Information is easily accessible in which case there is no reason for anyone to become information illiterate because technology makes constant strides to insure that everyone is informed and organizations are functioning properly. For instance, technology is the tool of connection and conventionalism. Twitter is the prime example as to how far we have come in the technological age. There is a wealth of information from individuals that are "on location" in various parts of the world that tends to share what they've witnessed in real time in just a few words. In most cases a person could find out information quicker than network news broadcasts.
Technology assists corporations in maintaining a competitive advantage over competitors thus providing a more convenient way to conduct business transactions for the consumer. Over a decade ago, I have witnessed a drastic change that enabled organizations to become more efficient, paradoxically, there are a few organizations that are stagnate in their business practices and have not yet hopped on the bandwagon of technological trends, nevertheless, the organizations that do are guaranteed to join in the many benefits of utilizing advanced methods of technology.
