Common fear for human and creature

Title: [Order from Ray]-Urgent-the common fear for human and creature

Project instructions:

The common fear for human and creature

There are two articles uploaded need to be read:

1. “Primary Text.pdf”

2. The New One.docx

After you feel like you have read the essay responsively and are beginning to understand it, begin your written assignment.

At the top of your document, type out three quotations from this new essay (The New One.docx) that seem to you to somehow be in relationship with your primary text (Primary Text.pdf).

Remember, you are looking for moments of thought and reflection that deepen your understanding of your primary essay, not moments that offer a simple compare/contrast relationship between the two.

Now, take time to craft at least two paragraphs that put your primary essay into conversation with this new one (The New One.docx). Keep in mind that you are writing for a reader who is familiar with neither essay. Begin by taking time to explain the new essay (The New One.docx) by briefly revealing important and specific aspects of idea, form, and content. To add the original essay you have been working with, you need to form a strong hinge. By this, I mean, you will render a connection using details from each essay, as opposed to relying on abstractions and vagueness for your transition/connection.

Use this specific hinge to reveal how one essay begins to help you understand the other. How does it clarify a tension between these texts? What questions and ideas is the new text making you grapple with? As you write about the essays, make sure you refer to the writers by name; after all, you are creating a conversation between them.
