A question of definition listed above, "what topics do couples most often fight about?" interests me. I would like to research this because I am eager to find out if other couples argue about the same topics that my boyfriend and I do. Using a survey, I could give couples options for the question of what they fight about the most and see the results. I would also be able to find research online and through the UMUC database.

A question of variable reasons that I would be interested in researching is "How does social media affect the social lives of adolescents?" This question is the one I prefer to use for my project because not only do I know that I can write plenty about it, but it is a new topic that has become more popular in the past couple of years. I also am 22 years old and am very up to date on new technology and social media platforms. In addition, with this topic, I can conduct a survey and interviews to use as tools for the upcoming project. I would also be able to find information on this subject through databases such as UMUC.

Your research question is a great one in this day and age because everything is about social media now. People not only keep in touch with their family, friends and associates on social media; they also get their news, political advice and so much more from social media now. Researching how it affects adolescents is great as well. You can use that avenue to discuss other things as social media does not see to be going anywhere. You can research tne grades of students school work prior to social media and after to see if it affects their grades. You can also see how is affects them socially. Great question!
