Combining choppy sentences:
Directions: Combine each pair of sentences by subordinating minor ideas or by coordinating ideas of equal importance. You much decide which ideas are minor because the sentences are given out of context.
Can someone please help me in doing the following questions
- The aides help the students with reading and math. These are the children's weakest subjects.
- Thurmont means "gateway to the mountains." It is minutes from the Blue Ridge Mountains and the historic town of Catoctin.
- The ivory-billed woodpecker was once thought to be extinct. Some scientists are trying to prove that it still exists.
