A recent study was conducted to discover the relationship between the weight of car and miles per gallon (gas mileage.) A linear relationship was investigated with weight of car serving as the response variable. The coefficient of determination (r-squared) was reported to be 79.6%. Interpret this value in terms of the variables in this study.
