CASE STUDY :CODING SYSTEM
You were invited to help an organization "imp. & Export" to design a coding system for Contracts Control The required coding system elements are
• Product ID
• Country of Origin
• Nature of item
• Price
The designed code should be in the minimum number of digits due to the limitation of storing capacity and you free to use all the coding systems and codification methods .
You are required to develop a report indicating the purpose of the assignment, the description of the designed code and the justification for
each element, description of the selected system(s) and a list of at least 10 items to illustrate the validity of the designed code and its effectiveness
