Cnsider a thin flat plate of thickness d1 1 cm density 1

Question: Consider a thin flat plate (of thickness δ1 = 1 cm, density ρ1 = 8,000 kg/m3, and specific heat c1 = 500 J/kg·K) next to an ambient (of thickness δ2 = 5 cm, density ρ2 = 1,000 kg/m3, and specific heat c2 = 4,000 .Pkg·K) at an initial temperature T2 = 0 °C with h = 200 W/m2·K( (Fig. 4P-7). One side of the plate and one side of the ambient are insulated.. From this condition, electrical energy a"' = 2 kW/m3 begins to be generated within the plate. Determine the unsteady lumped temperatures of the plate and the ambient.
