Clinical data repository:
1. Thoroughly explain the clinical data repository.
2. Discuss how it relates to the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
3. You are a member of the committee charged with implementing the EHR at your facility. Identify which components of nursing documentation should be retained in the clinical data repository.
For example, would you want to include all patient vital signs from the current hospital admission? Explain why you would include or exclude the various components.
4. Identify several external sources of information that would be useful as part of the EHR for access by a home health nurse.
