Climax Stage - Hydrarch
A variety of trees invade the woodland community which soon develop into the climax community. The nature of the climax is dependent upon the climate of the region. In tropical region, where rainfall is high, dense rain forests develop, and in temperate regions, mixed forests of trees like Quercus, Ulmus, and Acer may develop. In regions of moderate rainfall the climax stage consists of deciduous forests or monsoon forests.
