For this assessment task, you are required to create, maintain a detailed annotated list of resources (software, tools and data) required for your own data science project as well as a list of the particular standards you may need to use.
In a Wiki you will prepare a brief description of a data science project, for instance as listed for Assessment Task 3, followed by a table giving resources. The table would look like:

How you will be assessed
You will be assessed on your ability to:
- classify the kinds of data analysis and statistical methods available for a data science project
- locate and assess resources, software and tools for a data science project.
Word limit
The word limit for this assessment is 500 words. References consisting of URLs can be given at the end of the entry and are not included in the word count.
Note that these limits are upper maximums. Word limits ensure equality across students. If you exceed the upper limit, you obtain an unfair advantage over others. Furthermore, saying what you need to while staying under the word limit demonstrates your ability to write concisely. For these reasons, a penalty will be applied for word limit violations. The penalty applied will be proportional to the amount of words over, such that 5% (of the total possible mark) will be deducted for every additional 10% over the word limit. The following example explains the penalties associated with exceeding the specified word limit.
