Clamminess or paleness

Robin has a history of a silent heart attack and a completely blocked LAD. He has coped well with it for 3 years, and maintains a low fat heart healthy diet. He has never experienced angina, but does tire easily.

Friday night he came to pick me up at an RV park (I stayed in Austin, TX for the week). When he got to the RV park, he let the dogs out of the car into the Fifth wheel RV. I took the Yorkie out for a short walk, but he took the Blue Heeler down the block to the dog park to give her a break. This in 105 degree weather! He showed up at the Fifth wheel RV about 15 minutes later. He had difficulty walking up the trailer stairs, had labored breathing, and ask me to drive him to the ER so they could check him out -- he reported symptoms of crushing pressure on his chest -- described as "If a person was sitting on my chest" and left arm numbness. His face was red, like you would expect from the heat, but no clamminess or paleness.

What steps would you have taken?
