On this study guide I list four topics. On the actual test, you will see three questions that will be formulated more specifically than what you have here. You will answer two of the three questions.
Each question asks you to “explain” something. An explanation should be one or two paragraphs, about the length of one page (approximately 250—300 words)
Be sure to give an explanation that draws specifically upon the relevant reading or readings.
Try to give as full an answer as possible within the time and space allotted. Address a range of relevant points discussed in class that can be related to the topic.
Try to make the relevance of your points clear. Do not bring in facts that are not connected to your explanation.
