Christian-humanistic worldviews regarding sexuality

A secular humanist believes that the humans are ultimate source of truth, standards and values and right and wrong. There are a few debates in the secular humanist camp concerning whether there is any responsibility to society. In another word can a person pursue his/her own sexual choices without regard to others or is there a responsibility to respect the autonomy of others? Because secular humanism teaches that we are the highest evolved animal it should be no surprise that they legitimize human sexual behavior by comparing it to the behavior of animals. Thus if animals are promiscuous and have numerous mating partners it must be normal for humans to pursue the similar behaviors. If animals engage in homosexual behavior it is okay for humans too. Obviously the males of many species only get to mate throughout a specified time of the year and I don't hear too many secular humanists (at least the men) advocating that behavior for humans.
