Write a paper covering current events articles that you find on the internet.
The articles should come from reputable news source such as The New York Times or the Washington Post, etc, do not use blogs, opinion pieces, etc).
You must also put a complete citation at the top of the article review (fromatted in Chicago Style) and paste the link for the article as well.
There are essentially 3 parts to the paper - briefly summarizing the article, discussing how it relates to the course themes, and then assessing potential author bias.
Choose an article related to the course themes/topics or material from the first four chapters of the book (Keeping the Republic: Power and Citizenship in American Politics) such topic as ideology, different type of government, the roles of government, federalism or the constitution.
The paper must also address the validity of the article (whether there is a perceivable liberal or conservative bias.
