- How does your ad meet the goals of each type you have chosen?
- Do you believe that your ad is effective? Why or why not?
2. Choose a product that you are familiar with. What is the target audience for that product? If you were the advertising manager for that product, how would you advertise to reach the target market or markets?
3. You may have heard about the recent problems at United Airlines. The airline dragged a paying passenger off a plane to make room for United personnel, and later removed a honeymooning couple. Finally a passenger was stung by a scorpion that fell from an overhead bin.
Whether or not United was in the wrong for these events, they certainly created unfavorable public relations! If you were the head of public relations for United Airlines, how would you handle these situations and try to rebuild customer confidence in United?
