Chlorine levels are significant for the safety of recreational pools. If the chlorine level falls below 100 ppm, the swimming pool is not considered safe for recreational swimming. Periodically throughout the week, the lifeguard will sample chlorine levels from the pool by testing an ounce of pool water. If the test shows insufficient chlorine levels, the pool is shutdown for the rest of the day while chlorine is added.

1. Formulate the null and alternative hypothesis that will help in deciding whether to shut down the pool and adjust the chlorine level. Describe your formulation.

2. Discuss the decision and conclusion when the null hypothesis cannot be rejected. Describe clearly.
