HIV is such a major disease and health concern in society today, and it has come up in several discussions or threads in class. We need to discuss it and some of the problems concerning the disease in a little more depth. What are some of the characteristics of the disease? One concern is the following question, should health care workers handle the blood of someone who is HIV positive differently than they would the blood of anyone else? Why or why not?
