Cerebral Palsy

Cerebral palsy is a non-progressive neuromuscular disorder characterised by disorder of strength, muscle control, posture or movement due to brain injury, before or during birth or in postnatal period.

It is the commonest cause of crippling in children. It is better to put a potty chair or comode nearby.

Other treatment of such children include giving tranquilizer and muscle relaxants for convulsion and improving muscles function and providing occupational, orthopedic, educational, social and vocational support.
