Problem:
This study underscores the centrality of Conscientiousness for academic performance and offers actionable insight for universities. Consistent with recent work, Conscientiousness-alongside cognitive ability and motivation-emerges as a robust predictor of achievement (Odermatt et al., 2024). Translating this evidence into practice, course designs that scaffold self-regulation appear especially promising: frequent low stakes deadlines, transparent rubrics, and structured planning checkpoints can support students' goal tracking, particularly those who struggle with organisation and follow through. Such features nudge effort regulation across the semester and, in turn, foster motivation and persistence, ultimately improving performance (Odermatt et al., 2024). Bit simple. Need Assignment Help?
