case write up
1. Case extension/research project. You will pick one case that you have already written up for class discussion and extend it into a short research paper. For this case extension, you will:
a. Revise your initial case writeup to be in essay form, not numbered answers to questions.
b. Update the situation to the current day:
i. How is the industry today? More or less competitive, more or less profitable, even in existence?
ii. How is the company today? More or less competitive, more or less profitable, more or less financially stable, even in existence?
iii. If the company is public, what is its stock price and its 3 year trend? Would you invest? Why or why not? Pick 3 financial ratios and evaluate them to support your case, using the in class handout.
iv. If the company is private, how would you determine whether or not to invest?
