Guy Ritchies Snatch focuses on marginalized groups of individuals that are searching for a way to exist in London. This city carefully constructs a haven for one group of individuals, the White, Anglo-Saxon Protestants. This narrow focus makes it increasingly difficult for those who are Black (the thieves), Poor (Turkish and Tommy), Jewish (the diamond dealers/jewelers), American (Cousin Avi), and the Pikies (the Gypsies, primarily represented by Mickey) to carve out a viable space in which to exist. How do these characters find a way to survive in London? What are the implications of this? Can the situations of these characters be connected to, anything that we have been discussing? If so, how?
This paper should be 1,250-1,750 words (5-7 pages) long. The use of quotations is encouraged, so I expect everything to be properly cited in MLA format. Furthermore, the paper must be double spaced in 12 point Times New Roman font.
