Carol Stack, authour of "Call to Home," points out that there are many obstacles to individual success and community progress for Blacks in rural North and South Carolina. Be able to identify at least FOUR of these. Be able to discuss how people overcome these obstacles. And consider the role that migration to the north has in solving some of these issues.
