Part A: Identify things about the United States that you think are admirable (ways we do things, accomplishments of the country or its people, etc.). Now pick 2 countries from 2 different regions of the world. Can you identify admirable qualities about these 2 places? What it easier to identify negative or positive qualities about that country? Why do you think that is so?
Part B: What can you do to change some of the stereotypes you hold about people and places? Come up with practical solutions. For example, if you say, "I'd like to read (or watch a movie) about this region or people group," then research what you can read or watch post that as part of your response (fiction or non). Include other practical ways as well.
