OK, A public company hires another company for a service contractover 5 years. The public company pays the service company in agreedcommon stock(per share price) valued at the time the contract issigned.
The question is, can the public company book the accepted common stock valued at 5 million dollars on its balance sheet as an assetfor the term of the contract?? Decreasing the value each year ofthe 5 year term?
