Can someone define why the components of a methanol-water

Can someone define why the components of a methanol-water and carbon tetra chloride-toluene mixture differ from each other in boiling point by about the same amount? The methanol-water mixture can be separated moreeffiently by fractional distillation. Their boiling point are the followings methanol: 64.7,water: 100 c, carbon tetra chloride: 76.7, toluene: 110.6. Their heat of vaporization: methanol: 125.3, water: 536.6, carbon tetra chloride: 46.4, toluene: 86.8.
