Theory Based upon the reading of the three short HBR articles on the effects of Tariffs and Quotas respond the following three questions.
Here are the three questions you need to answer with appropriate brief justification for each question:
1. Can increasing tariffs potentially result in the ability of the US to renegotiate more strongly with other countries?
2. However, if tariffs, at the end of the day, do not trickle down in terms of benefits to the consumers. Are they literally a tax that is borne by the customer and the revenues go into the government's pockets?
3. If tariffs, therefore are never beneficial to any economy, but allow government to control entry/exit of favored nations in the trade arena. Why might they continue to be a barrier to entry?
