Can fibers be bent at right angle?

Fibers cannot be bent at right angle. All fibers should be bent with a radius that will not alter the internal architecture of the fiber. For each type and size of fiber, there is a minimum radius of curvature, given and recommended through the manufacturer. Bending fiber optics at right angles will cause the conductor to shatter into the case of glass, and be lastingly damaged in all other kind.
