This isn't for a specific class but I'm looking to build a server and database to store video shot with a webcam over the internet. The webcam will be connected to a single board computer such as raspberry pi or beaglebone and data will be transmitted over wifi. Can anyone who is familiar with server programming help point me toward the right direction? I.E. How I should set up my server? Most efficient method to transmit video?
