If you haven't seen the Thelma Golden Ted Talk, you are missing a great talk! That said, I would like to consider some of the ideas that Golden is putting forth:
- Do artists truly have power to influence the culture?
- What does art do?
- Can a museum be a catalyst in a community?
Don't be tempted to simply watch the video in order to find answers for the above questions. Rather, watch the video with the above questions in mind, consider what she is saying, and then ultimately, what are your own ideas and thoughts as a result?
