Calculating the de broglie wavelength


Earth consists of the mass 6 x 1024 kg and the orbit radius r  = 1.5 • 1011 m.

(i) Calculate the de Broglie wavelength.

(ii) Apply de Broglie quantization condition as in the case of Hydrogen atom and calculate the quantum number n for the orbit of Earth.

(iii) Determine the difference between radius of nth and n + 1th orbit?
