Calculating speed and resistive force

Assignment:

Two curling stones A and B, each having a mass of 2 kg, are on an ice rink floor. A is stationary and 10 meters from a boundary wall, while B is sliding at right angles to the boundary wall towards A.

Stone B collides with A head-on with a speed of 8.1m/s. After the collision stone A moves towards the wall perpendicular to it.

Calculate:

a. The speed at which stone A starts to move, if the speed of B is 1.4 m/s immediately after the impact.
b. The resistive force F acting on A, if the speed of A is 6.4 m/s when it hits the wall.
c. Given the relationship that retarding force where is the coefficient of friction between the stone and ice and R is the reaction force of the stone perpendicular to the plane of the ice, calculate the value of .
d. Stone A rebounds from the boundary wall in the reverse direction and comes to rest 3.8m from the wall. Find the change in A's momentum as a result of the impact.
