Problem
Computer system: whenever using new software that calculates numbers (competitor to Excel and Matlab) and needing high precision (e.g. 7 to 8 significant digits), the result is always off starting in the 5th or 6th decimal place. The fault can easily be demonstrated by multiplying two numbers, then dividing one back out, and the answer is slightly different than the other original number.
