The effect of turbine inlet pressure on the performance of an ideal steam Rankine Cycle is to be studied. Steam enters the turbine at 350 degrees C and exhausts at 10 kPa a. calculate the thermal efficiency of the cycle and the quality of the steam exiting the turbine for turbine inlet pressure of 1MPa. b. using the calculation procedure from above, calculate and plot the thermal efficiency of the plant with turbine inlet pressures of 3.5, 6, and 10 MPa.
